MEMORY (2014)
The starting point of creating the exhibition were threnodies wrote by Józef Pless after death of his son. His later meeting with photographer and film-maker Jacek Jędrzejczak led to realization of “A memory” project. The exhibition, with help of image, poetry and music of Tadeusz Sudnik and Chris Rafael Wnuk, talks about death, pain of passing away and mourning. Actress Joanna Kasperska, Józef Pless (threnodies) and Jacek Jędrzejczak were performing at the vernissage.

“Pamięć” to intermedialny projekt zainspirowany poezją Józefa Plessa. Wystawa składa się z prac fotograficznych i filmowych Jacka Jędrzejczaka (w tym m.in. videoart’u “Poem” o którym poniżej) w akompaniamencie muzyki Tadeusza Sudnika i Chrisa Rafaela Wnuka.

The starting point of creating the exhibition was a meeting with Józef Pless, a poet of polish descent leaving in Lubeka (Germany). Through the process of detailed video documentation of multiple meetings with Pless and in-depth analysis of the emotions (both those recorded and developed within the scope of our strengthened friendship) I have pictured the expression of father’s mourning.
